Bloody Murder 2 took forever to come out in the U.K, so when I saw the script logged on simplyscripts I just HAD to read it.
Unfortunately it was only up to the first kill, but fortunately there aws a link to the website it was hosted on. Bloodymurderfilms
So I clicked the link and had a look around the site, only to find a forum with 5 or 6 great people on it, so I joined.
After months of talking about my own scripts I finally got one finished that others could read, inspire by how BAD the first BM was (to me at the time, repeat viewing would change that) called CAMP KILL.
After it was read by wayne_travis he noted how he had half a story for a BM sequel and would I like to read it (or I asked if I could read it, loooong time ago, 2002.)
After loving it and witing it myself a partnership was born, all because Nick Meece looked the film enough to stat a website with a forum, type up the first 13-pages of the movie and link it on my favourite script website.
If this hadn't happened I would never have "met" wayne_travis, I'd have no BM scripts on my computer, no produced feature, and wayne_travis may never have even finished his latest script CALLING SARA (because while he told me about his idea, it still took me MONTHS to talk him into writing it) and I wouldn't be doing a draft of his new script to produce myself.
Way_travis and I owe a lot to Mr. Meece, and we aren't going to forget it any time soon. Other than our first feature SPARROW (originally called CAMP NIGHTMARE (hey, it was aimed at the DTV market ) whenever there is a Mosly/Di Febo film out there, Nick Meece will be in the credits, as an associate producer or parent
If it wasn't for Nick Meece, Bloody Murder 2 would have been the last in the series, but because of Nick Meece, there are 4 more to come one day, one way or another. Even if we can't buy th rights one day (which is unlikely) as long as I can make them they'll be online for free.
Peace to Nick Meece
